Adjunct Professor of Real Estate

Bruce Alexander is Yale University’s vice president for New Haven and State Affairs and Campus Development and former senior vice president of the Rouse Company. As director of the Commercial Development Division he was responsible for the development of all of Rouse's commercial and mixed-use projects throughout the United States including Baltimore's Harborplace, Miami's Bayside, St. Louis Union Station, New Orleans Riverwalk, Seattle's Westlake Center, and Portland's Pioneer Place. In New Haven, Mr. Alexander, who is a graduate of Yale College, chairs the Board of Market New Haven and serves or has served on the boards of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, the New Haven Development Commission, the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Science Park, Tweed Airport Authority, and Connecticut Public Broadcasting. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Conference of Shopping Centers.
